This puts a wonderful slant on 2 Chronicles 7:14. “if My people ...will humble themselves...I will heal their land.”

(Esther’s comment on 2 Chron 7:14 slant...I’m not sure I get the revelation of that, maybe someone would help me with it. The land is a big deal in God’s economy; it’s in His covenants with Abraham and Moses. The land suffers when sin abounds. God has promised the Jews the land of Israel forever, but when they are not righteous in that land, the land throws them out. It happened over and over in the OT. It will happen in today’s Israel, which is why it is so important to pray for the salvation of the Jews who do not recognise Jesus as their Messiah. The land is healed when people, either Jew or Gentile, submit to God.)
