Day 34 of 40 day fast

Step 10: (2 days) More consequences and effects

The consequences and effects are numerous and affect us spiritually as the Body of Christ, physically in our bodies, emotionally and mentally. Families are affected; health and education are affected. Even animals and the land are affected. This is a brief look:

Pray as the Holy Spirit leads you. If you feel weighed down, worship.

*Spiritual:
“NZ is a nation that has aborted many of its children. The NZ church has aborted what God wanted to bring to the land in recent decades. Every precious move of God hove the last 30 years has been aborted. None has reached full term...Abortion brings death. There is only one way to have victory over death; that is by resurrection. Jesus is the Resurrection and the Life. The way for us to walk in that resurrection power and know the fullness of His life in us, is the way of the cross...As Head of the Church, He waits until a core group of disciples have paid the price in the upper room to receive power from on high that stirs whole cities.” (Adrian Watts)

“I believe God said that we would not see revival until we deal with the abortion issue.” (Pastor Dennis McLeod)

Generally, few spiritual children are being born into the church family.

*Men/Fathers:
“Men are faced with the dichotomy between their role to protect and that of pressuring a woman into an abortion; they caused the death of their child and harm to its mother. Men often deal with a sense of emasculation or uselessness, not uncommon in Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder.

This manifests differently for those who encouraged abortion, than for those who were helpless to prevent one. Research reflects the extent of the father-loss crisis and shows that boys, adolescents, and men need treatment for father loss issues as they themselves have been affected by the (emotional) loss of their fathers, or of their fatherhood through abortion. Behaviours involving addictions, rage or dangerous activity often force men to seek help and the present crisis of relationship or altered behaviour allows a prior abortion to be discussed.

Research has also shown that men who have participated in abortion are more apt to have a diminished regard for women, and struggle with sexual addictions including a high use of pornography.” (Heather Austin)

*Health Specialists
A Polish psycholtherapist, Andrzej Winkler M.A., has worked with patients throughout Eastern Europe over a period of 30 years. Concerning his treatment of gynaecologists and anaesthesiologists seeking help due to major depression, he reports that to numb their emotional pain, these clients had become addicts and participated, knowingly, in high-risk activities, or attempted suicide. Interviews revealed that all had been or were involved in the abortion industry. Though they had not connected their emotional decline to their occupation, they had, on a subconscious level, become unable to live with themselves.“ (Heather Austin)

These specialists on the one hand abort babies, and on the other deliver healthy, full term babies - with blood on their hands.

Then there is the issue of hospital bed space, experienced staff, and health dollars being allocated to the abortion industry.
